Past

Fall Open House

Saturday, Late September, from 9am to 12pm. Free public tour at 11.

What: This is an annual fall celebration of the gardens. We sell native wildflower plants and t-shirts to support next year’s growth. A tour at 11 am highlights fall blooms and fruits, and we have volunteers on hand to answer all your native plant questions! Celebrate our garden in its brightest, biggest season yet.

May Plant Sale

Saturday, Late May, from 9am to 3pm.

What: This is our yearly plant sale fundraiser, held at the gardens every May. We primarily offer beautiful, hardy native plants – the same species that are growing in the gardens ($7 for a 4″ plant). We also sell colorful hanging baskets of annual flowers, plus t-shirts with our Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens logo ($15) and hemp totes ($25). Our knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to answer questions and chat about your garden and ours. Garden Director Garima Fairfax gives a free public tour at 10:30am.

All proceeds from these sales benefit the RMBG. Payments are accepted by cash, check, ApplePay or credit card.

Brighten up your garden and please some pollinators with beautiful, low-water Colorado native plants while supporting our efforts to maintain a public garden in Lyons!

Garden Tours

We occasionally host tours for schools, garden clubs, and, other interested parties. Please contact Garima at garima@rmbg.org to schedule a tour!
