May Plant Sale
Saturday, May 23rd, from 9am to 3pm.
What: This is our yearly plant sale fundraiser, held at the gardens every May. We primarily offer beautiful, hardy native plants – the same species that are growing in the gardens ($7 for a 4″ plant). We also sell colorful hanging baskets of annual flowers, plus t-shirts with our Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens logo ($15), hemp totes ($25), and bandanas featuring a map of our gardens. Our knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to answer questions and chat about your garden and ours. Garden Director Garima Fairfax gives a free public tour at 10:30am.
All proceeds from these sales benefit the RMBG. Payments are accepted by cash, check, ApplePay or credit card.
Brighten up your garden and please some pollinators with beautiful, low-water Colorado native plants while supporting our efforts to maintain a public garden in Lyons!
When: Saturday, May 23th, from 9am to 3pm; Free Public Tour – 10:30am
Where: The Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens is located near the intersection of Prospect St. and 4th Avenue, Lyons, CO. Park along the street, then walk a short way along the Bohn Park access path from the street corner. The Gardens will be on your right, with a Little Free Library by the entrance.

Pollinator Public Tour
Saturday, June 6th, from 9am to 10:30pm.
What: A public tour of the gardens will be held in conjunction with a pollinator festival hosted by Simply Bee Conservation in Sandstone Park! The website for Simply Bee Conservation can be found here.
We will additionally have a small selection of native Colorado plants and various botanic garden swag, including tote bags and t-shirts.

Fall Open House
Saturday, Late September, from 9am to 12pm. Free public tour at 11.
What: This is an annual fall celebration of the gardens. We sell native wildflower plants and t-shirts to support next year’s growth. A tour at 11 am highlights fall blooms and fruits, and we have volunteers on hand to answer all your native plant questions! Celebrate our garden in its brightest, biggest season yet.
